Crema is an Inc. Magazine Best Workplace for 2023

May 9, 2023 — Kansas City-based design & technology consultancy Crema lands a spot on the Inc. Magazine Best Workplaces list once again! Out of the several thousand American companies that applied in 2023, Crema is one of the top 591 recognized for workplace excellence. This highly competitive award honors the best of the best workplaces offering truly remarkable cultures and employee benefits.

The Inc. Best Workplaces list is determined by a comprehensive set of research-validated criteria and the results of an employee sentiment survey. A variety of aspects were considered, including company culture, management effectiveness, perks, and fostering employee growth.

Results of our employee survey revealed:

• 96% of Crema’s employees are “highly engaged”
• 98% of Crema’s employees believe leadership values people as the most important resource
• 100% of women at Crema say they feel their contributions to the organization are recognized

According to the Quantam research team, Best Places to Work foster workplaces where employees willingly go above and beyond in their work, advocate for the organization and intend to stay into the future. With these aspects of our organization examined, we’re proud of our high score of 93.63 (out of 100).

The last time Crema won this award was in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. Since then we've continued to see big changes in the world, inside our organization, and within the tech industry.

Our team has definitely encountered new and bigger challenges, but we've continued to flourish. Is the work we do difficult? 100%  Do we see our team reliably stepping up to meet the moment with creativity and optimism? Absolutely we do!

What hasn't changed are the postures with which we collectively approach our work. Day after day our teams display resilience, a collaborative spirit, and Crema's value of constant improvement – all key contributors to our company's success.
