  • George and Dan mention The Messy Middle by Scott Belsky, a book about the struggle of building new habits/disciplines. They go on to point out that high performing team have the posture and grit to say that they are willing to exist in messy middle (knowing it will get better).
  • George and Dan reference the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. This book talks about how goal setting is great, but reframing it into "what are good habits you want to start doing?" (which can help get you to that goal).
