As a recovering English/Creative Writing major, Ashley began her career in the software industry as a tech writer while spending too many late nights in 24-hour restaurants writing stories with friends. After an unexpected opportunity to work with fiction full time as a small press's business manager and editor, she also freelanced as a marketing and business consultant with several New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors as clients. She returned to technology at a small app company with a blended role in product management, sales, and customer success. Now, as a product manager at Crema, Ashley relies on her background in communication, strategy, design and storytelling to align teams around both big picture ideas and solving specific problems.
What's Ashley's favorite thing about her role?
"Working with creative, thoughtful teams to grow ideas all the way from the initial spark of "what if we could..." to reality—improving the way people live their lives and do their jobs every day."
